your responsibilities

As an HR Manager, you are a strategic partner to the leadership team by shaping and supporting our people approach and operations. You ensure Gorilla stays a great place to work for all talent while we scale and evolve.

You have the experience, energy and ability to build people operations from the ground up. You do this by owning and influencing everything from talent acquisition, employer branding, to talent & performance management, incentive planning and employee onboarding/offboarding. While doing so you always keep an eye on the goals and challenges we face as a fast-growing organization.

  • You deliver an exquisite candidate experience with fast-paced and high quality recruiting to make our ambitious hiring plan become reality

  • You support the team and their leads to enable their talent and become their strategic sparring partner

  • You embrace the company’s culture and are an ambassador of our values

  • You function as a hands-on, strategic partner to the business while designing and implementing a scalable HR strategy

  • You collaborate closely with external partners (recruiting, payroll, legal,…) to ensure our people operations align with our business goals and manage risk appropriately

  • You help the leadership team resolve employee relations issues and provide coaching and advice on best practices;

  • You navigate differences between countries and regions since our team works and lives around the world.

Your qualifications

  • You have at least 3/5+ years of experience as a HR Business Partner/Professional, preferably in a fast-paced tech and high-growth startup or tech environment

  • You combine a passion for people and team dynamics with an analytical mind and solution-oriented drive

  • You have the ability to operate with business ànd people in mind

  • You can think strategically while also being hands-on enough to make change happen

  • You have experience with innovative talent processes, plus a business mindset.

  • You are intrigued by technology

  • You are a strong communicator and know how to listen well and convince others.

  • You understand an agile way of working

  • You want to be a part of a fast-growing global team bringing together very different profiles and backgrounds

  • You’re fluent in Dutch and English
