your responsibilities

As Sales Development Representative you help Gorilla generate demand and leads across all of our energy markets such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand. You ensure the pipeline gets filled up with qualitative leads, by qualifying inbound leads as well as through outbound activities.

your role

  • By analysing and researching the market, you map key accounts and create prospects lists. You easily identify key players; researching and obtaining business structures, and finding creative angles to connect with them.

  • You generate sales opportunities through outbound activities in a structured, measurable and creative way.

  • You take on qualification calls with both inbound and outbound leads, listening to their problems and relating that to our solutions.

  • You provide our audience with the appropriate levels of information at the right time and nurture them by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with an account executive.

  • You support the senior sales team with deal information and account insights, all properly maintained in our CRM system.


  • You are eager to grow in demand generation and sales as part of a fast-growing software company;

  • You have an apt for understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business;

  • You are very interested in the energy transition and the challenges it brings;

  • You can manage qualification calls at varying levels of our customer accounts;

  • You are as good of a listener, as you are a communicator;

  • You’re ambitious with a contagious drive;

  • You love a start-up environment;

  • Your English & Dutch is impeccable, French or German are a plus.
