About the Revenue Team

Team Revenue drives the growth of Gorilla consisting of Marketing, Market Development, Partnerships, and the Sales function. Working collaboratively across the functions and the regions, we drive Gorillas' expansion and growth. Consisting of a highly motivated team spread across the globe, we continuously work closely with our prospective customers to demonstrate the value Gorilla can bring their organizations.

Your Role

As a Market Development Representative (MDR) for the DACH market, you will be responsible for initiating strategic conversations with enterprise energy companies and positioning Gorilla’s solutions as the answer to their data challenges.

This role goes beyond traditional prospecting—you’ll research and map out complex organizations, engage senior decision-makers through tailored outreach, and help drive market expansion. Working closely with the Account Executive, Sales Engineer and Marketing Team, you’ll play a key role in identifying high-value opportunities and shaping Gorilla’s presence in the region.

Through structured coaching from the Head of Market Development, you’ll develop into a high-impact enterprise sales professional with a deep understanding of both the energy industry and SaaS sales.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify & Engage Enterprise Prospects – Research and target key accounts in the DACH region, connecting with decision-makers through strategic outreach, personalized messaging, and event participation.

  • Become a Market Expert – Build industry knowledge in energy pricing, forecasting, and portfolio management, enabling you to speak the customer’s language.

  • Drive High-Impact Conversations – Understand the business priorities of enterprise companies and articulate how Gorilla’s data solutions align with their goals.

  • Track & Optimize Sales Efforts – Maintain accurate prospect insights in CRM tools like HubSpot, ensuring seamless lead progression.

  • Represent Gorilla at Industry Events – Support sales initiatives by networking and building relationships before, during, and after key industry events.

What You’ll Need

  • Fluency in German & English – Confident in both written and verbal communication.

  • Curiosity & Business Acumen – You enjoy understanding how complex organizations operate and identifying where Gorilla can create value.

  • Resilience & Drive – You thrive in a high-performance environment and can handle the challenges of enterprise sales.

  • CRM & Tech-Savvy Approach – You know how to use data to your advantage, working with tools like HubSpot or Salesforce to track and optimize outreach.

  • Collaboration & Team Mindset – You believe in team success over individual wins and enjoy working cross-functionally.

  • Proactive & Resourceful – You take initiative, seek solutions independently, and don’t wait to be told what to do.

  • Previous experience in SaaS sales or business development is a plus, but we are open to highly motivated individuals looking to kickstart their career in enterprise SaaS sales.

Where and how you'd work

Our flagship office is in Antwerp. We also have an office in London and co-working spaces in London (UK), Austin (US), and Melbourne (ANZ). This is a Remote First role based in Europe. You have a choice in where and how you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.

With a focus on the DACH region, you will be expected to travel across the region.
